We specialize in tailoring part-time positions ranging from 8 – 20 hours per week which favor efficient redistribution of tasks and existing workloads. Our workplace partners often find that they are able to save time and money by hiring part-time employees through Southern Oregon Aspire. Through our diverse talent pool, we will match a qualified individual to fit your specific employment needs and unique business culture.
Our services include customized training and ongoing supports provided by our Southern Oregon Aspire employment specialists – at no cost to your company. Your business pays only the hourly wage of the person that you hire, plus payroll taxes.

How It Works
Job candidates who enter into Southern Oregon Aspire’s Employment Services program have the option of starting with a varied and in-depth work experience called Discovery. The Discovery program is made up of 4-6 assessment or work experience sites per person. These sites are chosen based on the individual’s interests and skill sets. By working to each person’s strengths and interests, it allows us to match your job needs with an employee who will enjoy being a productive member of your team.
Southern Oregon Aspire’s Job Developer works with you to identify needed tasks within your business that will become the job for a potential candidate. Often you need some extra help with tasks, but not enough to require a full-time employee. By partnering with us to identify job needs and tasks in your existing workplace, we are able to put together a comprehensive job descrip-tion that meets your expectations, and offer an employee who can fill the role with the hours required.
On The Job Training & Ongoing Support
Our qualified Job Coaches will first learn the job duties themselves, per your requirements, and then provide training and coaching to the candidate to help them learn the job. Ongoing support is provided by the job coach until the new employee meets your standards and will be faded out as they are able to be successful on their own. After a job candidate is placed in your company, our Job Developer works closely with you to ensure a good job match has taken place for both the employee and employer.
